17.09.2004 - We're baaack!
I've finally finished at university and work has once again resumed on the mod. Stay tuned for more updates.

In other news, 2000AD prog 1406, released last week, marked the first episode of epic new Strontium Dog tale "Traitor To His Kind".

From 2000AD Online: "When Alpha travels back to Earth with norm partner Wulf Sternhammer at the request of the British Government, he's returning to a place full of bad memories of his violent and abused childhood at the hands of his father, the bigoted Nelson Bunker Kreelman. But now Upminster has a mission for the S/D Agent that could alienate him from the very mutant people he fought to free from oppression..."

Well? Go buy it!

06.04.2004 - ...And another!
The blaster model is finished. I've put a temporary texture on it, which will do until I get round to making a proper skin for it.

05.04.2004 - Hey wow, an Update!
Work has resumed on the Johnny Alpha model. He's looking pretty darned good now, and is one hell of an improvement over the early incarnations. Obviously, the white bits have yet to be skinned!

I have begun work on a new version of Johnny's blaster - one of several weapons I hope to include.

I'm also in the process of tidying up the site files, which will make it easier for me to keep the site updated, and should also improve the general performance of the site

03.09.2003 - www.strontiumdog.com
We now have a new URL. The site will still be accessible at the old address, but for those with more to do than remember obscure URLs it's a bit easier to keep track
of.

17.08.2003 - Hmm... looking good!
I've put a quick skin over the model so far. It's based on one of the pieces of artwork Carlos Ezquerra sent me last year. It really fleshes the model out & makes it look so much more like Johnny. Take a look in the
Models section and see for yourself...

13.08.2003 - Sweet baby moses!
An update! Yeah, I've finally got aroung to doing soe work on the all-new & improved Johnny Alpha model. I've kept the face from the original model (the only bit I was happy with), and started again from the head down. Check out the
Models section to see the story so far...

20.05.2003 - Just where the hell...
...are the uspdates around here? Good question. I've been wondering that myself. Well, I've been kinda busy and, to tell you the truth, I wasn't too happy with the way the models were going, so I've decided to get better at modelling.

And the best way to do that is? Practice. It's taken a while, but I think it's working. If you want to know what I'm banging on about, check out my latest model at my portfolio site.

26.03.2003 - I return to you now...
Yeah, I know - it's been a bit quiet around here lately. I've had a few things to work through in Real Life®, so the mod's had to take kind of a back seat. I think I'm more or less done now, so there should be more activity on these pages in the near future. I've resumed work on the Johnny & Red models, but decided to go almost from scratch with them, as there's a lot I want to change. In fact, t
he only bit I'm truly happy with is Johnny's face. I've learned quite a bit from making the two models, and want to implement that knowledge, so it's back to the drawing board.

11.03.2003 - My humble apologies...
...to those of you who have asked where the updates are. I've had to put the mod on hold temporarily for family reasons. Having said that, I did warn you right back at the start, so quit complaining! Normal service should be resumed this coming weekend, so stay tuned!

04.03.2003 - Say hello...
...to our newest modder. Berserkervalk is our new skinner, and will be producing textures for the character models just as soon as I get my ass into gear & finish them!

15.02.2003 - Behold- the face of Johnny Alpha!
Johnny's face is about done. just need to weld it onto his head. this may mean re-jigging a few vertices here & there, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Thanks are owed to DemonPrincess from the Polycount message boards for her much-needed guidance. Thanks DP!

11.02.2003 - Model update
OK, the Johnny & Red models are about 50% done now. Check them out in the Models section! Thanks to the guys on the 2000AD Online message board for the support & suggestions.

04.02.2003 - Model update
Due to the pressures of Real Life®, work is progessing quite slowly on the models. However, to tide you over until something worthwhile comes along, I've posted an updated image of the Johnny Alpha model. Hopefully, I'll have something finished to show off soon...

20.01.2003 - Strontium Bitch!
Work has started on the Durham Red model. There's a preview in the Models section. Meanwhile, work continues on the Johnny Alpha model - expect an update soon!

10.01.2003 - Bring me the head of Johnny Alpha!
Some of you have been asking when I'm going to get round to it, so I've posted a sneak peek of the Johnny Alpha model in the Models section. It's a very early work-in-progress, and I've only done his helmet so far, but whaddaya want for free?

27.12.2002 - Forum online
We now have an online forum where you can share your views on the Strontium Dog mod. We want to hear any comments or suggestions you have.

23.12.2002 - ...And then there were two
The Strontium Dog team has doubled in size. Creating an Ennio Morricone tinged blend of drum & bass and rock, I'd like to welcome Tyrone to our ranks.

20.12.2002 - 2000AD Webring
This site is now an official member of the 2000AD Webring. Check out the new banner at the bottom of this page - you'll find links to all manner of 2000AD related goodness.

02.12.2002 - Blaster model finished
The blaster model is finished. It's based on the pic provided by the mighty Carlos Ezquerra. You can compare the model with the original art in the Models section. Carlos has also sent me some more artwork, which is currently residing in the Screenshots section.

Once again - thanks Carlos!

28.11.2002 - Help from the top!
I am delighted to report that I've been talking to none other than SD top dog Carlos Ezquerra via email, and he likes what he sees! He's been kind enough to mail me a nifty image of Johnny's blaster, which you can check out in the Models section. I'll be using the image to create a model of the blaster, which can then be used in UT to bring in some bounties!

Thanks again, Carlos - you're a star!

25.11.2002 - Welcome!
This site chronicles the creation of a series of add-ons for Unreal Tournament which may or may not eventually comprise a Total Conversion.

I make no promises about what I'm doing, or when it'll be done. This is purely for my own entertainment & education.

It's also worth bearng in mind that this is a totally unofficial, non-profit venture made by a fan of the Strontium Dog character & mythos, and in no way affiliated to 2000AD or Rebellion, so please don't harrass them for info on this.

Do, however, check out their fine range of comics & computer games which I'll be linking to extensively in my Links section.

Cheers, sneckers!

.....Matt
